For the French festival Toumélé at Maules, devoted to the subject of “Wind” in 2004, I created two totems that are inspired by aborigine mythology. They represent Bara and Mamariga, two opposite winds that punctuate the seasons in Oceania. The totems are made out of different recycled materials, incorporating stained glass, cloth and small bells that ring in the wind.
